Electroforming

Electroforming has been invented in the mid 18hundrets, and has become the most precise metal plating, and product manufacturing process of our time.
 
It can be simply put as plating an object with nickel-cobalt alloys but using electrons and ionization. The process is being done in special baths where the electrons of the anode, are being ionized, in order to achieve bondage to the desired shaped object, which is named the cathode.
 
The advantages of electroforming can be simplified by stating that it a replication method which achieves atomic scale processes, above 3000 holes per square millimeter, up to 1.5 - 3 nanometers tolerances can be achieved. These are measurement fidelities, which have been unmatched by any other technology today. Not only is it superior in tolerances to other metal manufacturing such as casting, forging, stamping, deep drawing, machining and fabricating, bu it also allows us to manufacture excellent process control in high repetition and quantities, decreasing costs in final product.
 
Since electroforming is and additive process, unlike etching or laser cutting where material has to be removed, it produces superior edge definition in almost optical finishes.
Electroforming is also superior to other methods since it is electrically conductive, unbreakable, insensitive to temperature or humidity, is used in light transmission, and is very  low in mass.


Emc

Electromagnetic charges give us all a mighty buzz. Not only in our daily lives where we get electrified hair taking of our woll pullovers during winter, or getting a shock touching a metal door knob, but these fields and their need to spread and getting grounded cause trouble in the highest technologies in today's industries. Small charges which can destruct a whole system that you have electronically formed, in an airplane, an audio system, any kind of circuit, clean room or printing and packaging material lines. These charges are so small but have crucial effects in everything, especially in products that are involved in electronics. They can cause sound disturbances and fluctuations in color and images in FPDs for example.  

Since the destructive and damaging power of these small charges is in such extend, we have been working on finding solutions for these charges for our customers. Some have used external devices but for all other places where you cannot place these instruments, we produce EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) products.  

Our aim in producing EMC products is to help you solving the unwanted effects of EMI (electromagnetic interference) and to help you get rid of both the continuous and pulse interferences with products which you can just easily stick onto the problem area, whether it may be inductive, capacitive, or magnetic problems that you are facing.

E-light

If you also think that life should be more colorful, than you should have met with e-light technology. Maybe you already know this technology; we certainly do!  

Electroluminescence (EL) is an optical and electrical phenomenon in which a material emits light in response to an electric current passed through it, or to a strong electric field. Having first been noted in the earlier decades of the 20th century, its capabilities and technology has been improving have caused an increased emphasis on its use in military and commercial systems.  

Recent improvements have been higher output, longer life by preventing degradation caused by moisture, UV absorbers, color variety expansion, less power consumptions, elimination of IR and UV emissions and eliminating glare and flickering of light.  

E-light technology is not a competing technology, but it has been designed be more superior than light bulbs in areas where thickness, custom designs and flexibility are important.  

E-light does not only provide flexible solutions for commercial purposes, but is also being used in Aerospace industry as a result of solving main problems of conventional lighting systems such as eliminating excess weights, and eliminating light caused hot spots, glare, uneven lighting, and canopy reflection.  

Since this technology has lower power consumptions compared to other lighting technologies, such as neon or fluorescent lamps, together with the thinness and flexibility of the material, has made EL technology valuable to the advertising industry to a great extend.

Photoluminescence

Photoluminescence (abbreviated as PL) is a process in which a substance absorbs photons (electromagnetic radiation) and then re-radiates photons. Quantum mechanically, this can be described as an excitation to a higher energy state and then a return to a lower energy state accompanied by the emission of a photon.  

Photoluminescent products contain phosphors, which is a substance that radiates visible light after being energized and that has a very long persistence.  

What happens is that the available energy states and allowed transitions between wavelengths of light absorbed and than being emitted, which makes it glow, in the dark..
